We understand that choosing the right nursery is a big decision.
Below are some of the most common questions we’re asked by parents.
If you have any other queries, please don’t hesitate to get in touch. We’re always happy to help.
We’re open Monday to Friday, from 7:30am to 6:00pm.
Yes, we offer 15 and 30 hours of funded childcare for eligible families, including:
- Funding for children aged 9 months and over (working parents)
- Universal 15 hours for all 3- and 4-year-olds, from the term after their third birthday
Visit Childcare Choices to check eligibility.
We ask that you provide:
- A few spare changes of clothes (including socks and shoes if potty training)
- Weather-appropriate outdoor wear (e.g. coats, hats, gloves, sunhats)
- Any comforters or items your child may need to feel settled
All meals, snacks, nappies, wipes, and sun cream are provided in our all-inclusive fees.
We use a secure parent app called ParentZone to keep you informed throughout the day.
This includes updates on:
- Meals and snacks
- Toileting and sleep
- Activities your child has enjoyed
You can also share photos and comments from home to help us build a full picture of your child’s development.
We take a gentle, flexible approach to settling in:
- 'All About Me' meeting – you and your child visit the nursery to meet the staff and discuss routines and needs
- 1-hour settle – your child stays for an hour without you
- 2-hour settle – a slightly longer session to build confidence
If more sessions are needed, we’re happy to accommodate them to ensure a smooth transition.
If your child has sickness or diarrhoea, they will need to stay at home for 48 hours from the last episode.
If your child becomes unwell during the day, we will contact you to discuss the best course of action for their wellbeing.
Yes, all staff are fully DBS checked in line with safeguarding requirements.
Yes, all team members are trained in paediatric first aid.
Yes, fees are charged in full during absences, including illness and holidays.
To secure a nursery place, we ask for a £100 deposit, which will be deducted from your first invoice.
We know that choosing the right nursery for your child is a big decision, and it’s completely natural to have questions along the way. Whether you’re wondering about our routines, funding options, staff qualifications, or how we support your child’s individual needs, we’re always here to help.
